Classic Beef Burgers

Ingredients
  • 800g Wyndhams minced beef
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1tbsp mixed dried herbs
  • 1 egg - beaten
  • Seeded burger buns
  • Toppings of choice
  1. Start off by frying your onion and garlic together in a pan with a dash of oil until they begin to brown, once nice and golden set aside.
  2. In a large bowl you then want to combine the beef mince along with the herbs and the egg. Season well with salt and pepper before adding in the onion and garlic mix.
  3. Time to get your hands in. Mix together all the ingredients and shape into four patties around 2-3cm in thickness.
  4. Now onto the fun part…out to the barbecue, place the patties onto the grill and cook for around 5 minutes on each side. Whilst the second side is cooking, now is the time to add cheese to make sure it melts on top.
  5. As the burgers are cooking away, lightly toast the seeded burger buns and fill with your choice of burger toppings, we suggest lettuce, tomato and maybe even some fried onion!
  6. Place the burgers into the bun, top with sauces of choice and enjoy!
