Steak and Mushroom Bites

  • 1lb Wyndhams sirloin steak cut into cubes
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 30 ml soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 200g baby mushrooms
  • Handful of fresh thyme
  1. Season the steak with paprika, salt and pepper. In a resealable food bag, add the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and hot sauce, add in the seasoned steak and toss around, ensuring the steak is fully covered.
  2. .Over a medium heat, warm the oil in a large skillet, add in the steak and cook for around 5 minutes. Keep moving the steak around the skillet.
  3. You then want to remove the steak and pop to one side. Pop the skillet back onto a medium heat and melt the butter. Add the garlic and brown for around a minute. Add in the mushrooms, thyme and cook until golden. Finish off by adding the steak back into the skillet and warming through.
